Before law school...
Before law school, I attended WVU, earning both my bachelor’s degree in Accounting and my master’s degree in Business Administration. While getting my MBA, I was able to serve as West Virginia University’s 65th Mountaineer Mascot. After completing my term, I went on to work for the WVU Foundation in the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations full-time for one year. I still work at the Foundation now in a part-time capacity.
Why WVU Law?
The reason I came to WVU Law is the same reason I ultimately wanted to serve as the Mountaineer. I love the State of West Virginia and I have always wanted to serve the state in any way possible. By attending WVU Law, I knew that I would have a great educational and networking background that will allow me to stay in the state upon graduation and continue to serve West Virginia.
Law Interest?
Ultimately, I’m not sure which area of the law I would like to pursue. I would love to be able to build upon my financial and business backgrounds, but I am trying to keep an open mind during my first year to see which areas of the law I enjoy the most.
In 10 years…
In 10 years, I would love to be practicing law in my hometown of Elkins, WV with a family of my own.
