Biography
Maxx Biddle is the Behavioral Health Therapist at West Virginia University’s College of Law.
As a native West Virginian raised in Morgantown, West Virginia, Maxx attended West Virginia University for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. He graduated with his B.A. in Psychology and his M.A. in Counseling. Upon graduating with his M.A., he worked at Wellspring Family Services, a community-based family service that aims to provide mental health services to individuals who primarily have Medicaid. Here, he conducted home visits with an underserved and, often rural and impoverished, population who cannot adequately reach mental health services themselves. He then transitioned to WVU Medicine’s Center for Hope and Healing, an inpatient substance use treatment center in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he worked as a Clinical Therapist for five years. During his time at The Center for Hope and Healing, he worked his way into Leadership and ultimately became the Center’s inaugural Lead Clinical Therapist.
As the Behavioral Health Therapist at WVU’s College of Law, Maxx will facilitate the growth of law students by guiding and cultivating them into not only successful lawyers, but also healthy and happy human beings through effective coping strategies, careful and empathetic processing, and development of therapeutic skills.
