Clinician
Whitney R. Morgan, a WVU College of Law alum, has been with the Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic since 2015. In this role, she has focused on the development of a comprehensive zoning ordinance template designed specifically for rural West Virginia communities, with major contributions centering on the intersection of zoning with the U.S. Constitution. Generally, she functions as a utility player between the clinic’s various practice areas.
As a clinical instructor, Whitney channels her passion for writing in taking on a mentorship role with third year law students to refine legal writing skills. She also serves as the final stage editor for major publications of the clinic and assists with grant writing. Whitney lives in Pittsburgh with her partner, four children, and Lhasa apso named Rainbow.
