Biography

John A. Williams is a Staff Attorney for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Law Clinic at the West Virginia University College of Law.

Mr. Williams received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Business Management from West Virginia University in 2014. As an undergraduate at WVU, Mr. Williams obtained a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2017 with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law. In 2017, Mr. Williams also received his Master’s in Business Administration from the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics. While in law school, Mr. Williams interned for the Harrison County Public Defender’s Office in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He then interned at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, where he conducted research involving legal and ethical issues surrounding medical data privacy in the workplace. During his third year of law school, Mr. Williams participated as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Law Clinic.
