What is your favorite law school memory?
My favorite law school memory has been studying in the immigration law clinic, and being able to work hands-on with clients.
Who/what inspired you to to go law school?
I wanted to go to law school after I completed a service-learning trip to France, where I assisted refugees in learning French. I knew that I wanted to come to law school to be able to help more people. I was compelled to study more international law, which drew me into immigration law.
Who would you like to thank?
I would like to thank my family first for being so incredibly supportive of me over the past three years. I couldn't have made it through law school without their comfort, guidance, and push to succeed, specifically my mom and dad. My boyfriend, Matt Wade, has helped me through everything and has been amazing. I would also like to thank the supervising attorney of the West Virginia University Immigration Law Clinic, Lesley Yost, who has helped me grow my career in immigration law and helped me land my future employment!
