Favorite law school memory
My favorite law school memory would be the trips I was lucky enough to take with my Lugar team. I would have never imagined that not only we would have the chance to make it to the National competition, but that I would also come out of the experience with new friends that I know I will have for a long time to come. Driving from Chicago to New Orleans overnight took patience and understanding on the part of every teammate, but once the experience was over all of us had the best memories to remind us of what we did.
Inspiration
My parents inspired me to go to law school. I grew up knowing that they met in law school and I watched them practice. I got to attend some hearings here and there and watch my dad argue in front of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals. But most of all, I could tell that they love what they do and I wanted to find that same happiness. It also doesn't hurt that I love to argue.
Special thanks
I would like to thank my entire family for helping me get to this point. My parents who staying up late listening to me practice my closing arguments and my brother for putting up with me complaining about what was happening every week during law school.
