Favorite law school memory
My favorite law school memory is participating on the Steptoe & Johnson Trial Team in the ABA Labor and Employment Trial Competition and making it to the National Competition in New Orleans. While our trip to New Orleans did not start the way we expected it, I was thankful to be in good company and to have had the opportunity to represent WVU Law.
Inspiration
I want to make a positive impact on my country, however small it may be, studying law and becoming a lawyer is one of the ways I can accomplish that goal. More directly, seeing how lawyers can make sure people get healthcare, education and have their rights respected when those have been denied (whether by demanding that a law be applied or by legislating), is in part what inspired me to study law.
