Favorite law school memory
Making it to the quarter-finals of the National Moot Court Competition.
Inspiration
I just felt this burning desire to have the knowledge and ability to help others who didn't have the means to fight for themselves.
Special thanks
To my parents and brother — you were there for every freak out and listened to every law-school related rant. Thanks for watching every recorded Trial Ad exercise or oral argument and always telling me that I was great. I love you.
To Dean Haught — none of this would have been possible without you. I just wouldn't be here. You taught me to believe in myself and that there's no crying in baseball. Every late night practicing in a court room or test cram session was because you taught me to be tough and have faith in myself. I can't thank you enough.
To Prof. Cyphert — to be Chief Justice was an honor but to be mentored by you was an even bigger one. If I am half as smart as you, I will consider myself to be a successful attorney. If I am half as kind as you, I will consider myself to be a successful human. Thank you for everything.
