Peer Writing Consultants
Peer Writing Consultants are second and third-year law students who are trained to work with fellow student writers to have collaborative, constructive writing consultations with students of all backgrounds, learning styles, and levels of writing proficiency.
As part of their training, Peer Writing Consultants learn to analyze writing and provide feedback to writers respectfully, effectively, and with an encouraging attitude.
After Peer Writing Consultants have completed their training program and have offered consultation to writers for 25 hours, they become Level 1 Tutors certified by the College Reading and Learning Association’s International Tutor Training Program.
