The Writing Center helps individuals become better, more confident writers and offers an encouraging environment to discuss, refine, and experiment with writing and writing pedagogy. In our work with students, we offer group and individualized writing consultations that help writers at any point in the writing process as they assimilate to legal writing, identify their writing strengths and weaknesses, and improve writing skills and abilities. In our work with faculty and staff, we provide support for writing instruction and the production of professional documents. By promoting writing as an essential element to learning and professionalism, the Writing Center supports the College of Law and the greater legal writing community.
