WVU Law joined the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a national organization dedicated to creating opportunities for minority law students, in 2016.
The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is made up of more than 285 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, working to build a more open and diverse legal profession.
Our partnership with LCLD provides a mentoring program for 1L minority students. Qualifying students also have access to exclusive internships at law firms and in corporate legal departments.
During the school year, LCLD hosts a popular networking reception and panel discussion for students and practitioners. Read more about the 2018 event on the LCLD website.
