SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Change of Income

Although the process of determining a student’s eligibility for financial aid is basically the same for all students, an adjustment sometimes can be made if a student has special circumstances. Special circumstances may include a reduction in income due to loss of employment, retirement, disability or death of a wage earner; divorce or separation; loss of social security benefits, etc. If you experience a change of income please notify the Financial Aid Office.

Child Care

If you have children receiving child care while you are enrolled in college you may receive additional loan monies to cover part or all of the costs. You must submit to the Financial Aid Office a signed statement by your child care provider verifying who is in child care and how much you are spending monthly.
