Bio
Gregory W. Bowman, Associate Professor, received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law. He also holds an M.A. in Economics of the European Community, with distinction (top honors), from the University of Exeter in England, and a B.A., summa cum laude, in Economics and International Studies from West Virginia University. Professor Bowman is the founding director of the International Law Center, Korean Summer Legal Studies Program, and International Speakers Series at the Mississippi College School of Law. His book, Trade Remedies in North America, was published in 2010 by Kluwer Law International. Bowman’s areas of teaching include Administrative Law, Contracts, International Law, International Business Transactions, International Trade Regulation, National Security Law, and Remedies.

Areas of Research
Current research focuses on international trade regulation, particularly pertaining to outbound and inbound trade controls, jurisdiction, trade in technology, trade in natural resources, and the role of sub-national governments in trade regulation.
