Meet the Staff of the Meredith Career Services Center:
Jennifer Powell is the Assistant Dean for Career Services at the West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia. Jennifer has served in this role since July of 2004. Prior to working at the West Virginia University College of Law, Jennifer was employed as an Applications Consultant with LexisNexis, worked as an HIV/AIDS prevention educator with Caritas, Inc., and practiced law with Regina Charon’s Law Offices in Morgantown, West Virginia. Jennifer is a member of the West Virginia Bar, having earned her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 1997. She also earned an M.S.W. degree in 1992 and a B.A. in English in 1988, both from West Virginia University. Jennifer is also a licensed social worker (L.G.S.W.) and teaches “Social Work and the Law”, “Families in Society”, “Human Diversity”, as an Assistant (adjunct) professor in Sociology and Social Work at West Virginia University.
Rosalind Lister is the Assistant Director for Career Services at the West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia. Rosalind has served in this role since October of 2006. Prior to working at the West Virginia University College of Law, Rosalind has been employed in positions ranging from career counselor and adjunct faculty member, to director, in her over 15 years in college career services. She has held positions at Loras College, Central Washington University, and Wabash College. Rosalind earned an M.S.Ed. degree in College Student Personnel/Counseling from Purdue University in 1990 and a B.A. in Communications from Purdue University in 1986.
